We follow thorough procedures to review guests and carefully manage who stays in your property. However, we recommend that owners do not leave valuables in the home while it is listed for short-term rental.

In the rare case that a guest causes damage or removes items from the property, our dedicated resolution team will support you by working directly with the guest and the booking platform to seek reimbursement.

We operate security deposits using a secure credit or debit card pre-authorisation. If damage occurs, the deposit will be charged accordingly and we will manage any related disputes on your behalf.

Yes. Property owners can request changes to availability, when the dates are still open and we receive at least one month’s prior notice.

Rental rates are set based on market analysis of comparable properties in the surrounding area. This allows us to position your property competitively while aiming to achieve the best possible rate and maximise your returns.


Guests pay the nightly rate and a cleaning fee when booking, with the total amount paid to us.

VK-Rentals deducts its commission from this total.

Cleaning costs are covered by the guest.

Owner payments are made on the 30th of the month after check-out.

Your property will be promoted on multiple booking platforms to maximise visibility, including well-known sites like Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, TripAdvisor, Google, and many more. If there’s any platform you’d rather avoid, simply tell us and we’ll exclude it.

Our support team processes hundreds of bookings daily and is trained to identify potential risks.

Security always comes first, even if that means declining certain reservations.

We only accept guests with verified profiles who can provide details about their stay.

We work with a dedicated maintenance team and a network of trusted contractors.

Costs depend on the type of work required.

Minor repairs can be handled without prior approval, provided a maximum spend limit has been agreed with your support team.
